On 1 March 2011, Origin purchased Integral Energy's electricity retailing business.  Origin is now the new electricity retailer for most of Integral Energy's electricity customers. Origin and Integral Energy have been working together to integrate the businesses so that the transition from Integral Energy to Origin happens smoothly, without any inconvenience to customers.

If you were an Integral Energy customer, your electricity supply will not be affected in any way and you do not need to do anything. (Prices did not change on 1 March 2011, and the convenient payment options currently enjoyed will go unchanged). For more information click here.

The Distribution Network

 

The poles and wires in NSW that supply electricity to properties (the distribution network) will remain NSW government-owned. They will continue to be owned and operated by the current service provider which was renamed Endeavour Energy from 1 March 2011. To find out more about Endeavour Energy please click here.
