QLD Solar Bonus

The Queensland state government’s Solar Bonus Scheme rewards households for their efforts to reduce their negative affects on the environment.  The Solar Bonus Scheme is a feed-in tariff paid to households and small businesses (using less than 100 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity per year) for the surplus electricity generated from roof-top solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that is exported back into the Queensland grid.  To qualify, the PV system can have a combined inverter capacity of up to 5 kilowatts.
