Price notification for extension rates

Applicable to large business customers on interval metered supply in NSW

(effective 1 February 2010)

 

This notice, in relation to extension rates is applicable to large business customers whose premises are supplied, or to be supplied, electricity by Integral Energy under a negotiated supply arrangement.  For the purpose of this notice, ‘large business customers’ refers to Integral Energy customers

 

• With electricity consumption greater than or equal to 160MWh annually, and
• Whose electricity supply is currently metered by type 1-5 interval meters.

 

Extension rates*

The extension rates set out in the table below may be applied at Integral Energy's discretion under the terms of your current contract with Integral Energy where the fixed term period covered by your contract with Integral Energy has come to an end and;

 

• You have not yet signed a new contract either with Integral Energy or an alternative energy retailer; or
• You have signed a new contract with an alternative energy retailer but the transfer from Integral Energy to your new retailer has not yet taken effect.

 

These extension rates may also apply in the situation where you have moved into a premise, are consuming electricity and have not yet signed a contract.

 

In these situations and where applied, the extension rates will continue to be applied to your supply until such time as your supply commences under a new contract for electricity supply with Integral Energy, or you transfer to another electricity retailer.

Peak:            7am - 9am and 5pm - 8pm on a business day,

Shoulder:    9am - 5pm and 8pm - 10pm on a business day,

Off-Peak:     10pm - 7am Monday to Friday, and 10pm Friday - 7am Monday (weekends), and

                      24 hours on Public Holidays throughout NSW. 

 

*These rates are calculated based on the costs of supplying large business customers with electricity and related goods and services under their supply agreements with Integral Energy during the period from the ‘end date’ under those agreements and the date on which the agreement is terminated.  These rates replace the retail electricity prices otherwise payable under the agreement, and will be adjusted by the applicable loss factors and any NGAC, ESS, MRET and/or other allowable environmental or emissions reduction scheme pass through charges in respect of the electricity supplied.  All other charges and amounts payable under the agreement will continue to be payable. These rates are also applicable to customers who move into premises supplied by Integral Energy and are yet to sign a contract.

 

** These rates apply to type 1- 5 metered supply.
