From 1 July 2010 regulated electricity rates for households and small businesses in New South Wales will increase.
Regulated rates are jointly determined by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) and are usually adjusted on 1 July each year.
The price increases will help maintain a secure and reliable electricity supply for customers. Primarily they will support Integral Energy’s increased investment to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base and to continue to upgrade and replace ageing assets such as substations, wires and poles.
